She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ziehl and Alice Ziehl (Wurl); her husband Alvin Ziehm; her children, Roy, Mark Ziehm (JoAnn) and Janette Lynn Clapsadle (Mark); her siblings, Elton, Robert, Andrew, Frieda, Eleanor and Laura; and her granddaughter Alyssa Justine Cowell.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Zemaitis (Vincent), David Ziehm (Jody), Brenda Baardsen (Ken), Elaine Joyce (Peter) and Karen Cowell (William). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home (533 Meadow Dr, North Tonawanda, NY 14120). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (453 Old Falls Blvd, North Tonawanda, NY 14120).
