It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ora R Ganschow of North Tonawanda, New York, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Arthur F. "Bud" Ganschow Jr.; her parents, William Hartwig and Louisa Hartwig; her son John Ganschow; her siblings, Herman (Pearl), Ella Kart (Hamilton), Albert (Irene), Helen Thering (Donald), Arthur (Janice), Clara Weber (Robert) and Harold; and her sisters-in-law, Marjorie Sizer (John) and Joan Roeser (Allen).

She is survived by : her children, Paul Ganschow (Bonnie), Nancy Dieterle (Gary), James Ganschow (Lois), Thomas Ganschow (Cynthia), Mark Ganschow (Michele) and David Ganschow (Dorothy) of Clarence Center; her daughter-in-law Amy Ganschow; and her sister-in-law Barbara Hartwig.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church or the Leukemia Society.

James Kart wrote a sympathy message

“Aunt Ora will be missed! I can see her loving smile, her kind words, and sweet disposition as I think about her. Bud completed her and they are together now. Mom and I spent many reunion weekends together awaiting the family get together at their house. They both helped me appreciate what a wonderful family I was born into. We will miss you all at her funeral but plan to be with you in spirt. God bless you all and peace during this difficult time. Our love to you all! Jim Kart & Family”
