He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Gorko; his stepchildren, Jacob Gorko (Brittany), Alexander Derby, Victoria Carhart (Richard) and Eric Derby (Alexandra); his grandchildren, Griffin, Graham and Paisley; his father-in-law James Birke (late Eleanor); and his siblings-in-law, Deborah Birke and Gregory Birke (Pamela).
