We announce the death of Robert A Sass of North Tonawanda, New York, who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Sass (Pawlowski) and Stephan Sass. He is survived by: his wife Florence; his sons, Robert (Brenda) and Jeffrey (Dawn); his grandchildren, Stephanie Egan (Shawn), Kimberly Sass (Daniel Vrana), Alexa Sass (David Stillinger), Erin Sass and Noah Sass; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Vivienne, Ella and Dylan Egan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home (533 Meadow Dr, North Tonawanda, NY 14120). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Czestochowa R. C. Church (64 Center Ave, North Tonawanda, NY 14120). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
