She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Long and Gladys Long; her husband Timothy M. Leithner; and her siblings, Robert Long (late Edna) and Beth Wooten.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Boyd Leihtner and David Allen Leithner (Gail); her grandchildren, Christine Dudas (Jeremy), Deanna Balduf (Jed) and Ashley Leithner; and her sister Judy Ferm (Steve).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc. (1241 Oliver St, North Tonawanda, NY 14120). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of WNY, 6400 Sheridan Dr #320, Buffalo, NY 14221.
