As we bid Marie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Paul J. Gallowitsch; her children, Margot Puerta (Edward Puerta) and Paul Gallowitsch; and her grandchildren, Nathaniel Puerta, Evelyn Puerta and Charlotte Puerta.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nolan Funeral Home, Inc. (5 Laurel Ave, Northport, NY 11768). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Philip Neri Church (344 Main St, Northport, NY 11768).
