He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter B. Edwards and Ethel G. Wilbur Edwards; and his siblings, Jay Edwards, Earl Edwards, Alta Winn, Elfleda Olmstead (DeDe) and Tressa Hopkins.

He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Edwards; his sons, Toby Edwards (Beth) and Walter Edwards (Teresa) of Edinburg; his grandchildren, Alyssa Edwards (Jason Briskie) of Edinburg, Ashlee Weddell (David) of Mayfield, Jesse Edwards of Broadalbin, Shane Edwards (United States Army) of Edinburg and Nathan Edwards (Served) of Johnstown; his great grandchildren, Julian, Emma, Addilynn, Westlynn Briskie, Rayna, Rhenn and Rorri Weddell; his brother Bert Edwards of North Carolina; his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Edwards of Broadalbin and Pricilla Edwards of Edinburg; and his pet Foxy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
