It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Bernardi Turner of Norwich, New York, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stefano Bernardi and Maria Bernardi (Asunta); her sisters, Camilla Leggiero (Louis) and Rosemarie Fisher (William); and her brother-in-law Joseph Natoli.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Rutter of South Orange, NJ, David Turner (Cinda) of Eaton, NY, Kathie Holt (Mike) of Sherburne, NY and Gard Turner of Sherburne, NY; her grandchildren, Amy Ryan, Anna Leary (Ryan), James Turner (Kim), David Rutter (Amanda), Jacob Snyder (Danielle), Sarah Rutter and Stephen Turner; and her siblings, Antionette Natoli of Sherburne, NY and Stephen Bernardi (Leslie) of Norwich, NY. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew's Church (73 E Main St, Norwich, NY 13815). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Anna may be made to the St. Bartholomew's Soup Kitchen, 30 Pleasant Street, Norwich, NY 13815 or to the Chenango SPCA, 6160 County Road 32, Norwich, NY 13815.
