We announce the death of Candace Ostrom (Norwich, New York), who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 64. Candace will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Candace will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Candace’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Burlingame and LeRoy Burlingame Sr.; her brothers, LeRoy Burlingame Jr. and Jerry Burlingame; and her aunt Joyce Ward.
She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Ostrom; her brother Larry Burlingame; and her family, Lana Deuel and Alexis June. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cherished extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fahy's Funeral Home (116 N Broad St, Norwich, NY 13815). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rj Fahy Funeral Home (116 N Broad St, Norwich, NY 13815).
