He was predeceased by: his parents, George Applegate and Florence Applegate; and his sisters, Kathy Jennings and Brenda Carson. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Moore (Wade) of Norwich; his grandchildren, Chelsea Stanton (Daniel) of Tennessee, Derek Moore (Amanda Martin) of Norwich and Devin Moore (Taylor Tynon) of Sherburne; his great grandchildren, Natalie Stanton, Landen Stanton, Derek "Tumbleweed" Moore, Jr. and David; and his brothers, Kevin Applegate of Sidney and Brian Applegate of Sidney. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
