David R. Petley Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Petley and Lydia Petley (Spiegelberg); his siblings, Harlene Palmer and John Petley; his daughter-in-law Susan Petley; his cousin Marie Smith; and his close friend Roy Franklin.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Petley of Preston; his children, Liza Toborg (David) of Schoharie, NY, Theodore Petley of Honeybrook, PA and Erika Draht of Hastings, FL; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Toborg (Drew Seel) and Nicholas Toborg; and his brothers, Robert Petley (Beverly) and Richard "Jerry" Petley (Donna). He is also survived by sister-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (68 S Broad St, Norwich, NY 13815). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
