It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lois J. Meade of Norwich, New York, who passed away at the age of 87, on October 9, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Anthony and Fritz Anthony Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Meade (Robert Meade); her daughters, Kimberly Meade, Mary Anne McCredy (Spencer), Debra Hewling (Fredrick) and Janice Sohne (Robert); her stepchildren, Linda O'Brien (Timothy) and Robert Meade (Louise); and her sister Carol Adams. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the R. J. Fahy Funeral Home (116 N Broad St, Norwich, NY 13815). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Chenango County.
