Richard J. Blunden Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Blunden of Norwich, New York, born in Dewitt, New York, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Blunden and Edna Blunden (Greene); his former life partner Antoinette Scafidi; his brother Robert Blunden; and his grandsons, Brian Rizzo and William DeGennaro.

He is survived by : his spouse Jean Brancato; his children, Susan Rizzo (Joe), Cindy Davenport (Chuck), Barbara DeGennaro (David) and James Blunden (Stacey); and his grandchildren, Steven Rizzo, Randi Searles and April DeGennaro. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; as well as his niece and nephew.
