He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Germack and Mary Germack (Bush); his wife Edna Germack (VanAntwerp); his daughter Judy Plimpton; his siblings, Walt Germack and Joan Jusko; his grandsons, Aaron Plimpton and Frederick Plimpton Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Lillian Cahoon and Baby Nugent.

He is survived by: his children, Dottie Cramer, Joseph (Raymond McSloy), Tony Germack (Shelly) and Christina Hand (Kevin); his sister Mary Jane Kunderman; his grandchildren, Donald Sanders (Heather), Matthew Plimpton, Caren Cahoon (Steve), William Plimpton (Amber), Natasha Dineen (Josh), Courtney Nugent (Ryan), Nathan Hand, Sarah Markle (Davy) and Michelle Prince (Dan); and his pet Daffy. He is also survived by his 15 great-grandchildren, and his 4 great-great-grandchildren.
