He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Shabala and Mary Clare Donnelly Shabala; his wife Alice Petruzis; and his siblings, Paul Shabala, Robert Shabala, Judy Brennan and Mary Shabala.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Shabala of Nunda, Sharon Mandell (Larry) of Avon and Karen Trost of Henrietta; his siblings, Ann Cole of Allegany, David Shabala (Joanie) of Olean, Kay Reynolds (Bob) of Allegany and Susan Phearsdorf of Olean; and his siblings-in-law, Eileen Shabala of Allegany and Terry Brennan of Olean. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
