With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Wendelken of Nyack, New York, who passed away on February 10, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Hogan and Mary McGillicuddy Hogan; her husband William Wendelken; her siblings, Maryanne, Kathleen and William; and her sons-in-law, Matthew Carey and John Challacombe.

She is survived by : her daughters, Laura Iwanow (Serge), Darlene Challacombe (Glen) and Dawn Carey Vogel (Chris); her grandchildren, Amy (Steve), Christine (Chris), Nicole (Adam), John (Taylor), Chelsea (Justin), Sara, Allysen (Ryan) and Isabelle; her great grandchildren, Brendan, Cassidy, Niko, Iyla, Rhett and Parker; her sister Denise Hogan; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Hogan and Evelyn (Richard Brega).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
