It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Sanford (Nyack, New York), who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Sanford to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Swann and William Sanford; and his siblings, Albert Swann (Butch), Lawrence Swann, Dennis Swann, William Swann (Chet), Theodore Pritchard, Wayne Overton and Betty Elder.

He is survived by : his wife Sandy; his children, Brandie, Shannon, John and Erica; his grandson EJ; his daughter Keisha Brandy (Woody); and his grandson Jalen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in his honor to The American Cancer Society, St Charles AME church and The American Heart Association.
