She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Doherty and Margaret Rice Doherty; and her siblings, Patrick Doherty, Ann Mangan and Bernadette Schwartz.
She is survived by: her sister Kathleen Fitzsimmons. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Dominics Convent (496 Western Hwy S, Blauvelt, NY 10913). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of St. Dominic of Blauvelt.
