Susan Rentz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Rentz (Nyack, New York), who passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Susan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Susan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Dick and Victor Dick; and her pet Mojo. She is survived by: her children, Emily and Matthew; Barb Kanyak (Bruce Haas).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hempstead Presbyterian Church (484 New Hempstead Rd, New City, NY 10956).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sue's honor can be made to the New Hempstead Presbyterian Church, Rockland Camerata, or Morning Music Club.
