He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Johns and Shirley Johns (Walter). He is survived by: his daughters, Tanya Thyret of Oakfield, Jessica Johns (Rick Galluzzo) of Buffalo, Andrea Capwell (Mike Hadick) of Attica and Traci Pierce (Aaron) of Henrietta; his grandchildren, Tracy, Joshua, Micah, Levi, Dominick, Stella and Jordyn; and his siblings, Linda Smith (Butch), Betty Starkweather (Lyle), Jim Brion (Susan), Barbara Brion, Bobby Brion and Leslie Stauss (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Center Street Smoke House (20 Center St, Batavia, NY 14020).
