She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Canavan and Helen Canavan; and her husband Robert Wilhelm. She is survived by: her children, Robert, Debbie Wilhelm, Glenn Wilhelm, Adrienne Grimaldi, Paul Wilhelm and Mary Beth Wilhelm; her grandchildren, Dana and Bobby Byrne; and her children, Doris Wilhelm, Thomas Wilhelm, Katlyn Wilhelm and Courtney Wilhelm. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Towers Funeral Home, Inc. (2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY 11572). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the St Anthony's Roman Catholic Church (88 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY 11572). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at 91 Eads St, West Babylon, NY 11704.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) in her name.
