He was predeceased by : his parents, James Lucas and Anastasia Lucas. He is survived by : his wife Jean; his children, Marge (Bill), Cathy (Tony) and Billy; his grandchildren, Marisa (Justin), Serena (Bob), Michael (Debra), Lauren (Corey), Kaylee (Brian) and Eleni (Nebeyu); his great grandchildren, Christopher, Connor, Gavin, Keira, Maren, Sofia, Alexis and Adele; and his brothers, Paul and Nick.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Towers Funeral Home Inc. (2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY 11572). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral (110 Cathedral Ave, Hempstead, NY 11550). A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
