He was predeceased by: his daughter Bertha; his father George; and his siblings, Annaliesa, Johann and Hans.

He is survived by: his wife Inge; his daughter Heidi; his grandchildren, Nicholaus, Christy, Kevin, Christopher, Matthew, Tyler and Sydney; and his children, Pierre and Rita. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
