She was predeceased by: her husband Robert G. McDonnell Jr.; her son John J. McDonnell; and her parents, Joseph Regan and Katherine Regan. She is survived by: her children, Katherine M. McDonnell and Robert G. McDonnell III (Cindy); her granddaughters, Jacqueline and Allison; and her sister Margaret Regan. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Towers Funeral Home (2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY 11572). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 9:45 AM at the St Christophers RC Church (11 Gale Ave, Baldwin, NY 11510). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Charles Cemetery (2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
