It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melanie P. Bean (Oceanside, New York), who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Bean and Molly Bean; and her brother David Bean. She is survived by: her significant other Ira Bauer; and her siblings, Trey Bean and Kim Bean Higgins. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
