We announce the death of Alice D. LaRue of Ogdensburg, New York, who passed away on June 26, 2026, at the age of 69. Alice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond G. LaRue; her daughter Amy Barrett; her father Carl Ibey; and her sisters, Joanna Goodman and Sally Ann Ibey.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond LaRue of Ogdensburg and Eleanor Robledo (Craig) of Ogdensburg; her stepchildren, Richard LaRue of Ogdensburg, Loretta Pond of Massachusetts, Brenda LaRue of Ogdensburg, Fern LaRue of Ogdensburg and Bonnie Tickner of Rochester; her mother Eleanor Ibey (Meashaw) of Ogdensburg; her sister Barb Thurston (Lonnie) of Ogdensburg; her grandchildren, Alice Barrett and Shannon Barrett; and her family Amish.
Memorial contributions in Alice's memory may be made to the Ogdensburg Rescue Squad.
