David G. Holmes Obituary
We bid farewell to David G. Holmes of Ogdensburg, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 17, 2025 at the age of 73. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father George Holmes; his stepson Lawrence Michael Thivierge; his brother Stephen Holmes; and his siblings-in-law, Judith Holmes and Gary Whiting.
He is survived by: his mother Emma Jean Holmes (Rupert) of Ogdensburg; his wife Sandra Holmes of Ogdensburg; his siblings, Richard Holmes of Ogdensburg, Mark Holmes (Kim) of Ogdensburg, Vicki Hockenbery (Edwin) of Hammond and Debra Holmes of Russell; his sister-in-law Janice (Wendell Monroe); and his grandson Andrew Gemmill. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pine Hill Cemetery.
