She was predeceased by: her parents, Enos Smithers and Thelma Smithers (Middlemiss); her husband Ralph C. Skidds; her son Roger; her siblings, June Hazelton, Arlene Adams, Louise LaFave, Betty Simpson, Eunice Curry, Beverly Gladle, Donald, Delmar, David, Vernon, Ellis and George Smithers; and her half-brothers, Guy and Wendell Harper.
She is survived by: her son James Skidds (Michele) of Ogdensburg; her grandchildren, Laurie Bevins, John Skidds, Michael Skidds and Brian Skidds; her great grandchildren, Brody Wilcox and Janelle Philips; and her siblings, Bethany Wyatt and Quinton "Michael" Smithers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
