He was predeceased by: his parents, Iva Rand (Miller) and Lorenzo "Tunnie" Rand. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Rand (Heather) of Ogdensburg, NY and Stephen Rand (Leah Thompson); his grandchildren, Owen Thompson, Tanner Smith of Ogdensburg, NY, Shane Rand (Brandi), Lorenzo Rand, Zendel Cordwell (Josh), Janell Cordwell (Caleb) and Noah Schermerhorn; his great grandchild Hudson Rand; his siblings, Terry Rand (Carolyn) of Ogdensburg, NY, Brett Rand of Ogdensburg, NY, Brenda Trivilino (Philip) of Ogdensburg, NY and Claire Rand Murdock of Ogdensburg, NY; and his wife Sandra Jane LaFlair. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Frary Funeral Home (515 Caroline St, Ogdensburg, NY 13669). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Notre Dame Cemetery (6088 County Rte 6, Ogdensburg, NY 13669).
