He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Roy K. and Marge Brown. He is survived by: his parents, Ty Smith and Chris Smith; his fiancé Jessicalee Hollis; his children, Andrew Ty Smith, Tanner Mitchell Smith and Adeline Rose Smith; his siblings, Jenifer Zoeller (Jeffrey) and Aaron Smith (Shelby); and his siblings' children, Taylor Smith, Jackson Zoeller, Sage Smith and Steven Smith. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ty's memory to the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club.
