He was predeceased by: his parents, William Travis and Viola Travis (Jones). He is survived by: his wife Tillie; his children, David Jr. (Sherry), Jacqueline Wheeler (Doug), Scott (Carol) and Lauri Travis; and his sister Gloria Teal. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Kinderhook Elks Lodge.
