We announce the death of Carol L. Bess (Olean, New York), who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 76. Carol will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Mason and Virginia Mason; and her close friends, William, Marcia Snyder and Betty Osgood.
She is survived by: her sister Cynthia Shaver of Olean; her cousin Robert Mason (Letty) of Ohio; and her friend Tim Hussong (Nancy).
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Olean or to a charity of choice.
