Barr Sr. of Olean, New York, born in Allegany, New York, who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Barr, and Helen M. Hoffmire Barr, Sr.; and his siblings, Mary Pezzimenti, Patty Carapellatti, Jack Barr, Reenie Prevesk Nelson and Ellen Peck.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Anne Carlson (Andy) of Olean, Tami Ozogar (Vic) of Olean, Chrissie Barr, Terri Iliev (late Gligor) of Olean and Danny Barr, Jr. (Tracey Klein) of Livonia; his grandchildren, Ashley (Colt), Amanda (Curt), Jessi (Daryl), John (Nikki), Chris (Brittany), Kyle (Kyah), Gabby (Andrew), Izzy, Fylicia (John), Jorden, Morgan (Dustin), Brody (Bryce) and Tanner; and his sister Eileen Shabala of Allegany. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
