He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Young and Florence Phalen; and his son Jamie Young. He is survived by: his wife Karen Stavish; his stepchildren, Eric Witherell of Florida, Leah Scanlon (Matt) of Maryland, Jason Young, Kellie George, Suzanne Swatt and Eileen Stearns; and his sister Judie Green (Donnie) of Alabama. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
