He was predeceased by : his parents, Mielad Joseph and Florence Wollenburger Joseph; his parents-in-law, Robert and Lois Lyons; and his brothers-in-law, Bobby Joe Lyons and Daniel Scanlon.

He is survived by : his wife Deborah K. Lyons; his children, Christopher Joseph (Lauren) of Falls Church, VA. and Lori A. Triplett (Billy) of Ashburn, VA.; his grandchildren, Jackson, Benjamin, Will and Ruby; his brother Emil F. Joseph (Joanne) of Allegany; and his siblings-in-law, Moose Lyons (Marilyn), Tom Lyons (Judy), Tim Lyons (Brenda), Mike Lyons (Sandy), Mary Ann Scanlon and Pam Neary (Michael). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. - Olean (646 E State St, Olean, NY 14760). A prayer was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Maronite Church (1102 Walnut St, Olean, NY 14760).
