We bid farewell to Marlyn A. Gayton of Olean, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 16, 2025 at the age of 65. Marlyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parent Serell S. Santee-Gayton; and her brothers, Timothy A. Gayton, Vernon Gayton, Sr. and Duane C. Gayton. She is survived by: her mother Audrey M. Peterson Gayton of Olean; her son Tyler Plaud of Olean; and her siblings, Audrey O. Gayton, Christine Gayton, Debra Gayton, Calisse Gayton, Lori Gayton, Serrell M. Gayton, Stanley Pierce and Norman Gayton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Casey, Halwig and Hartle Funeral Home (3128 W State St, Olean, NY 14760). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home (3128 W State St, Olean, NY 14760).
