We announce the death of Norbert J. Witzigman (Olean, New York), born in Rome, New York, who passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Witzigman and Bernice Schoff Witzigman; his brothers, George William (Jean Marie) and Donald Charles (Elizabeth); and his son-in-law Jason L. Dowdy.
He is survived by: his children, Scott (Diane Bell) of Hinsdale, Terese (John Beauchamp) of Mukwonago, WI, Melissa of Oconomowoc, WI, Robin (Karl Fruehauf) of Springville, Gretchen Dowdy of Grovetown, GA, Julie (Hans Elsigan) of Cuba and Toby (Ginger Krist) of Hinsdale; his wife Ramona M. Wallace of Mary's Church; his grandchildren, Dana, Christopher, Samantha, Gwendolyn, Abigail, Hope, Cosmo, Nicholai, Joshua, Sarah, Anna, Thomas, Tyler and Wren; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Liam and Sadie.
