Patricia O'Brien Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia O'Brien (Olean, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Sczudlo and Ann Marie Sczudlo; and her niece Martha Francesconi. She is survived by: her husband James L. O'Brien; her children, Catherine E. Buzzard (John) of Allegany, Kevin J. O'Brien (Katie) of Charlestown, WV and Maureen A. Brightwell (Paul) of Lake Frederick, VA; her grandchildren, Owen Buzzard, Henry Buzzard, Ava O'Brien, Mannix O'Brien and Zachary Brightwell; her great grandchildren, Xayla Brightwell and Tommy Brightwell; and her siblings, Raymond Sczudlo, Linda Stadler, James Sczudlo, Barbara Van Arnam, Joanie Tamer and Judy Francesconi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
