Sarah Proctor Obituary

The memory of Sarah Proctor of Olean, New York, who passed away on May 27, 2026 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Braley and Myrtle Braley (Green); her sisters, Alice "DuBois" Shaw and Arlouine Houghtaling (Braley); and her friend Russell Herron.

She is survived by: her sons, Curt Proctor (Dannielle) of Portville, James Proctor (Kelly) of Cortez, CO and John Proctor (Cindy) of Olean; her grandchildren, Corri, Chloe, Connor, Riley, Samantha and Emily; and her siblings, Ada Farr (Tom), Ida Baker (Dale), Shirley Allen (Lelon) and Woody Braley (Marion). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cattaraugus County SPCA Animal Shelter in Olean, NY.
