He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Mead and Vivian Pachidao Mead; and his sister Thelma Mead. He is survived by: his wife Holly L. Shafer-Mead; his sisters, Susan of Norwich, CT and Lois of Wellsville; his niece Danielle Haywood (Antwan); and his great-nieces, Sloan and Cleo Haywood.
