He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rooney and Agnes Rooney; his brother-in-law Thomas Samere; his parents-in-law, Martin and Stella Brycki; and his sister-in-law Jean Siracusa.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Rooney; his children, Lisa Howarth (Dan) and Marty Rooney (Nicole); his grandchildren, Stella, Sawyer and Adalyn; his sisters, Peggy Samere and MaryAnne Maye (Tom); and his sister-in-law Christine Brycki. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
