He is survived by: his wife Vanita Johnson of Oneida, NY; his children, Marc of Oneida, NY, Eric (Bonnie) of Sherburne, NY and Amy; his grandchildren, Eric, Cory (Brittany), Shawn Engelbrecht (Kelsey), Lawrence III, Karl Rast (Meredith), Joey Saturn, Ethan, Owen Parlato (Rebecca), Alexander (Jennifer), Christian, Caleb Engelbrecht, Gretchen Escobar (Nathan), Rebecca and Jacob Moore; his great grandchildren, Xander, Ayden, Noah, Sawyer Engelbrecht, Adaleen Landers, Oliver, Phoenix, Theo Engelbrecht, Jake, Cole Hammer, Graham, Frederic, Lane Rast, Miriam Engelbrecht and Gianna Escobar; and his sibling's children, William, John White and Susan Relya.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (502 W Chestnut St, Rome, NY 13440).
