She was predeceased by: her father Burt; and her brothers, Burt Van Slyke, Jr., William Van Slyke and John Van Slyke. She is survived by: her sons, Charles J. DeFazio of Canastota and Richard M. DeFazio of Canastota; and her grandson Matthew DeFazio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Agatha's Church (329 N Peterboro St, Canastota, NY 13032).
