Gladys McNichol Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys McNichol (Oneida, New York), who passed away on December 25, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William G. Hess and Gladys Gaffner Hess; her husband William P. McNichol of Patrick's Church; and her siblings, Alice Dixon, Marion Turner, Frank, Neil and Stuart Hess.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Carlson of Wahpeton, Maureen McNichol of Oneida, Eileen Denison (John) of Oneida, William McNichol Jr. (Beth) of Durhamville, Michael McNichol (Alice) of Durhamville, Thomas McNichol (Jill) of Durhamville, Timothy McNichol (Jody) of Durhamville and Brian McNichol of Oneida; and her brother Robert Hess of Canastota. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
