He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Whitcombe and Marie Allen Whitcombe; and his grandfather John Whitcombe of Munnsville. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Friske of Canastota, Thomas Whitcombe (Brenda) of Lake Placid, Lisa Santmyer of Tully, Janice Nellis (Steve) of Canastota, John Whitcombe of Rome and James Whitcombe (Tracie) of Oneida Castle; his grandchildren, Matthew, Malisa, Collin, Beth, Brian Whitcombe, Mark, Megan Friske, Michael Santmyer, Katelyn and Emily Nellis; his great grandchildren, Nolan Robotham and Delilah Whitcombe; and his sister Roberta Christenson of Oneida.
