He was predeceased by: his father James C. Short; and his grandparents, Richard and Barbara DuRose. He is survived by: his mother Regina L. DuRose; his daughter Sylvia Lynn Short; his half-siblings, Kelly Malick of Boston, Sophia Robbi of Boston, Lindsay Colvin of Verona, Ryan Robbi of Boston and Jonathan Colvin of Utica; his uncle James DuRose; his aunts, Roietta DuRose and Jeanette Jablanski (James); and his cousins, Joe, Tim, Dale, Phillip, James and Danielle.
