He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fura and Lucy Capparelli Fura; and his sons, Richard Fura, Sr. and Louis Whitmeyer. He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Fura of Blossvale, Cheri Caiella (John) of Syracuse, Nancy Martinez (Ruben) of Edinburg and Carol Whitmeyer Antoni of Mc Allen, Texas; and his daughter-in-law Jerrilyn Whitmeyer of Fortine, Montana. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren.
