He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Featherly and Ethel Featherly (Fulmer); his wife Janice Elaine Miller of Beeman's Ice Cream Shop; and his daughter Shelly Kay Featherly. He is survived by: his children, Larry W. Featherly, Jr. of Peterboro, Tammy L. Hoag (Daniel) of Peterboro, Frank A. Featherly of Peterboro, Kimberly S. De La Riva (Johnny) of Oneida, Tracie M. Hopkins (Levi) of Oneida, Jodi L. Featherly (Kristian) of Oneida and Vicki E. Hughes (Korey) of Morrisville; and his aunt Anita Dougherty. He is also survived by thirty one grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
