With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynda L. Blake (Oneida, New York), who passed away on May 24, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lynda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lynda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lynda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Houseman and Reva Davis Houseman; and her brother Douglas Houseman. She is survived by: her husband Thomas A. Blake; her son Steven Lanz of Camden; her stepdaughters, Diane Leadley of Oneida and Debra Tow (Rich) of Cicero; and her sister Betty Hollingsworth of Canastota.
