We announce the death of Michael J. Borchardt (Oneida, New York), who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 63. He was predeceased by: his father Rickmann Borchardt; and his mother-in-law Eleanor Breckenridge. He is survived by: his mother Joanne Borchardt of Canandaigua, NY; his wife Susan Breckenridge of Oneida, NY; his sons, Matthew Micciche (Rebecca) of Liverpool, NY and Nathan Borchardt of Louisville, Colorado; his siblings, John Borchardt (Connie) of Liverpool, Rick Borchardt (Teresa) of Binghamton, NY and Patricia Chapman (Neil) of Bloomfield, NY.; his grandchildren, Khloe Carroll of Cheyenne, WY, Nicholas, Matthew and Joseph Caruso; his father-in-law Howard Breckenridge; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Christine Breckenridge; his sister Amy; his brother-in-law Mark Thornton; his pet Bobby; his aunt Dorothy Cuningham; Kaydence and Kennedy Keith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins and his favorite running partner.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lakeside Landing Restaurant (1017 Golf Course Ln, Oneida, NY 13421).
